C major / A minor pentatonic lesson V
Put your left hand position in the 12th position, it means that the pointer of the left hand is above the twelveth field from the head of the guitar. Play the tone E on your sixth string (the thickest) with your first finger (pointer). Of course, you have to look which tones belong to C pentatonic before all this. Play in the 12th position, as it is shown in the video, and pronounce the tones you play or their pitch. You can also play the pentatonic cliche, which is in the short term faster, but in the long run however, it shows that you play the same things the whole time and thereby get tired of playing. Place the fingers of the left hand as it is shown!
For later use of the pentatonic it is necessary to separate the basic two notes, C for the Major (5 string, the XVfield -the fourth finger (pinky)), and A for the Minor (the fifth string, field XII, the first finger (pointer))!
Primož, živjo! Ko poslušam in gledam tole tvojo izvedbo (Autumn Leaves) me mal mine, da bi še kdaj vzel kitaro v roke. No, zaradi ljubezni do tega inštrumenta, in glasbe seveda tega ne bom naredil. Ne vem, kje bi začel z učenjem. Kot verjetno že veš, sem samouk in igram po posluhu. Če se torej na odru ne slišim, se izgubim kot bi ugasnil luč. Skozi čas sem osvojil neke vzorce solaž, ki temeljijo (menim, da na pentatonični lestvici). Pol pač dodajam, kar slišim iz harmonij. Največja moja težava je, da ves čas “iščem” prave tone. Seveda, me motijo (in poslušalce tudi), tisti, ki jih ne zadenem (v glavi pa mislim, da jih bom). Ali obstaja kakšna tehnika, da se mi to ne bi dogajalo … (poleg seveda tega, da začnem na začetku). It also happens to me many times that I lose the will to exercise, because it seems to me that I am not progressing and standing still, which is not true. If you exercise regularly, you are sure to make progress in the long run, only you don’t notice it. There is a so-called muscle memory, in which the muscles in your fingers remember how you played something, but of course it takes time. When you get that feeling, it’s the best way to stop rehearsing and play some song that made you start playing the guitar and play alongside, so that you get motivated again. I would start at the beginning and only after the lesson is over go to the next one, as this develops the technique and the ear. If you skip lessons, you will have a bad foundation. My school is designed so that you progress slowly, later you improvise by chords and play the right notes. The purpose of all this is to always play the right notes, you can’t miss it, but you choose them yourself. Just like driving a car, if you know the road, you can drive faster.

Tudi meni se večkrat dogaja, da me mine volja do vaje, saj se mi zdi, da ne napredujem in stojim na mestu, kar pa ni res. Če redno vadiš, na dolgi rok sigurno napreduješ, le da tega ne opaziš. Obstaja tako imenovani mišični spomin, pri katerem si mišice v prstih zapomnijo, kako si igral kakšno stvar, seveda pa je za to potreben čas. Ko dobiš tak občutek, ja najbolje, da prekineš vadbo in si zavrtiš kakšno skladbo, zaradi katere si začel igrati kitaro, in igraš ob njej, tako, da zopet dobiš motivacijo. Jaz bi začel na začetku ter šele po končani lekciji šel na naslednjo, saj s tem razvijaš tehniko in uho. Če lekcije preskakuješ, boš imel slabe temelje. Moja šola je zasnovana tako, da počasi napreduješ, kasneje že improviziraš po akordih in s tem igraš prave note. Namen vsega tega je, da vedno igraš prave note, ne moreš zgrešiti, izbiraš jih pa sam. Tako kot vožnja z avtom, če cesto poznaš, lahko voziš hitreje.
